Milestones met in the last quarter:
One Nine Elms
The team has completed the basement slab across the entire site and also installed the final tower crane.
The River Tower’s concrete core has now reached Level 15 and the team have begun works to install the jump form rig on the City Tower. The rig will be used to create the building’s core, which will eventually house elevators and stairs. Preparation works have also taken place to enable excavation works for the basement in the Wandsworth Box.
Nine Elms Square
The team has made good progress with Phase 1 works and the construction of the concrete cores for the N8 and N9 buildings are underway.
For Phase 2, the team has successfully installed the new site access point on Nine Elms Lane and a site-wide drainage system. They have also completed the piling works required to start building the marketing suite.
A look ahead to the next quarter:
One Nine Elms
The team will be pouring concrete for the River Tower core and slab, alongside the construction of the steel frame and installation of the façade panels. Works to the tower’s podium is making good progress and the team will soon begin work on the concrete frame superstructure. The team will also be pouring concrete for the City Tower core and slabs.
Nine Elms Square
The team will be continuing works for Phase 1. This includes pouring concrete for the basement and ground floor slabs, installing drainage, finishing the podium roof, completing slabs for the N8 and N9 buildings respectively, and installing the façade panels to the first four levels.
For Phase 2, the team will be carrying out excavation works and building the basement for the marketing suite. They will also continue the replacement of the Victorian sewer with a modern system.
